Capability, evidence and sovereign usefulness index for universities and research centres. This page publishes public-facing grades for fitness, evidence, ATSS, impact, innovation, epistemic contribution, open knowledge and auditability. Raw scoring remains part of the internal audit layer and is not exposed on the public index.

Detailed universities index

This is not a prestige ranking. It measures useful science, sovereign capability, knowledge infrastructure, local transfer, open methods and social impact. Public cards show grades, not raw decimals, so the index communicates direction without turning specific actors into easy numerical targets.

A-range: demonstrated sovereign or constructive capability B/C-range: promising, mixed or incomplete evidence D/F-range: weak, dependent or counterproductive profile

A grades are not reserved for USK/CENA alone. They are assigned where public evidence shows real sovereign epistemic production, publication, knowledge infrastructure, cultural-cognitive contribution or locally useful research capacity. USK/CENA remains a priority ecosystem, but credible African and diaspora institutions can also appear in the A-range when the evidence supports it.
